Project Description

A 9m x 6m pavilion with a large terrace at a residence in Hawthorn. The structure features polished concrete floors, and electric sliding glass walls to three sides enabling the building to be completely opened up during the warmer months.

Framing consists of: 

  • Part suspended slab on compacted fill & part slab on ground
  • Reinforced concrete blockwall
  • Steel portal framed roof with timber rafters 
  • 15mm thick ply over the top of the rafters followed by bituthene membrane, cement sheet, and a 75mm layer of pebbles.
